The Kinangop Plateau is home to the endemic Sharpe’s Longclaw and near-endemic Jackson’s widowbird that occur in its montane grasslands. It is bounded by the forests of the Aberdare mountains and Kikuyu Escarpment to the east and south. We will be birding on the edges of the forest to get the montane forest birds.
